FinCap’s Housing Fund sold apartment building – the Fund’s return has exceeded 20% p.a.

FinCap Fund I Ky housing fund has sold an entire apartment building on Turku Kanslerintie to Nordea Life Insurance. Following the transaction, the Fund has sold three-quarters of its housing portfolio. FinCap Fund I Ky is FinCap’s first housing fund, and the fund’s annual return since its establishment in 2016 has been 23%. Excellent profitability is a result of FinCap’s comprehensive real estate value chain management, from the acquisition of land to contract tendering, site supervision, lease management and property sales.

The Fund’s operating philosophy has been to develop its own housing projects from start to finish on a five-year timeline. This goal seems to be achieved excellently, as it has reached its target return after four years of operation and is already in the exit phase. “The success of FinCap Fund I Ky’s strategy alongside our first care fund Finhoiva has created a good basis for the development of FinCap’s future housing and care projects in cooperation with our professional investors. We will tell you more about these when the time is right”, says Raoul Konnos, CFO of FinCap Real Estate Funds.

The FinCap Group is a Finnish property company focused on the development of real estate assets. Our four real estate business lines are development, funds, asset management and real estate brokerage (Suomen Kotijoukkue Ltd). The Group’s turnover was approximately EUR 21 million in 2019.
